The Hawaiian archipelago may be the most beautiful island group in the world. In that Hawaii is a part of the United States, it benefits from the security and freedoms that accrue from that association, benefits that may not be present in other nations.

If you have studied the islands individually, you may agree with me that Oahu is just a city, Big Island is rough and rocky, and the other smaller islands have negatives. Kauai remains the most alluring of the outer islands, since Maui lost that crown to overdevelopment, and would be a great place to live if you don’t mind not being able to drive around, or drive to the summit, of that small rock. It is also way out in the “deep end of the pool”, in that it doesn’t benefit from the protective influence of 3 10,000’+ tall mountain ranges and a protective circle of neighbor islands. There is a reason why the whales have chosen the protective waters between Maui, Lanai and Kahoolawe to birth their young, and travel thousands of miles of open ocean to do so.

If you agree with so many that “Maui no ka oi”, and you agree with my analysis of the topography, climatology, and the present and future state of development on the island, the opportunity that this parcel represents, the blessing, comes into clear focus.

It is perfectly situated in terms of elevation and topography, is located on the best island in the most beautiful island nation on earth. This land is a power spot.
